In this system, the under-bench cabinets move on the floor within a separately designed C-type metal construction. It is very similar to the suspended bench system, with the only difference being that the cabinets are not hung on the C-type frame. The same type of cabinets are fitted with four castors, creating a 100 mm gap from the floor. The two castors at the front are lockable, allowing the mobile cabinet to be fixed in place when needed. In the mobile cabinet system, the rear inner part of the C-type leg is enclosed with a panel. This setup is ideal for creating flexible workspaces, especially in small laboratories with a high number of personnel.
